Marty Shamon is director of talent, healthcare at Norwest, where he oversees talent for the firm’s healthcare portfolio companies.

Before joining Norwest, Marty was part of the healthcare practice at Spencer Stuart, where he worked with sponsor-backed and Fortune 500 companies to recruit top-level executives for key leadership positions.

Prior to Spencer Stuart, he was an account executive at G2, a software marketplace, where he partnered with clients such as Salesforce, Cisco, and Oracle to develop their peer review and marketplace strategies. He began his career at Kesem, leading regional operations for the nonprofit supporting children affected by a parent’s cancer.

Marty holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
