Tarun is a Senior Advisor at Norwest, where he counsels portfolio companies on AI strategy and innovation. He is also the CEO and Co-Founder of PressW, a technology company specializing in the frontier of AI and agentic applications.

Previously, Tarun was CTO and Co-Founder of Gathr, an AI event management platform, where he led the development of app features and machine learning capabilities as well as leading the company to an acquisition in 2022. He also held engineering roles at SparkCognition, Blackbaud, GoldBean, and Vize, gaining experience across AI platforms, enterprise systems, consumer applications, and startups.

Tarun earned his BS in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin, where he specialized in AI & Machine Learning. He is a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy and has been recognized as one of Austin’s top tech founders by AustinInno and the Austin Under 40 Awards.
