Allison focuses on venture investments in the healthcare sector with an emphasis on medical devices and diagnostics.
Prior to joining Norwest, Allison served as a director of venture capital at Medtronic. She was a board observer for five of their portfolio companies and led venture investment activities across Medtronic’s neuromodulation, neurovascular, cardiac ablation, and coronary businesses. Previously, she was a director on Medtronic’s corporate development team, where she led acquisitions and divestitures representing more than $2B in aggregate transaction value. Allison started her career as a manager at HealthScape Advisors, a boutique consultancy focused in the healthcare payer sector.
Allison has an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago.
