Kathryn is a Senior Advisor at Norwest, where she advises portfolio companies on GTM and marketing strategy. She brings deep experience building and scaling marketing organizations across high-growth technology and consumer brands.
Most recently, Kathryn was Chief Marketing Officer at AbsenceSoft, where she led brand, product marketing, and go-to-market strategy to drive growth and market leadership. She built and led a 12-person marketing team from the ground up, overseeing demand generation, product marketing, customer marketing, and partner marketing. During her tenure, the company more than doubled ARR, consistently exceeded pipeline goals, and earned industry recognition for three consecutive years.
Prior to AbsenceSoft, Kathryn was VP, Marketing & GM, Retail at Gordian, where she led a 25-person marketing team supporting SLED, Federal, and AEC industries across demand generation, product marketing, digital, and ecommerce. She also served as General Manager of the SaaS data business, overseeing inside sales and customer success alongside marketing and driving 24% ARR growth. She played a key role in expanding the business through integrated marketing, product strategy, and revenue-driving initiatives.
Earlier in her career, Kathryn led marketing at Southern Tide, overseeing brand, public relations, and e-commerce strategy, and held agency roles advising companies on brand and growth strategy.
Kathryn holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Clemson University and an MBA from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business.
