Karen is a Senior Advisor at Norwest, providing counsel to portfolio companies on marketing leadership, brand strategy, and global growth.
A seasoned marketing executive and CMO, Karen brings more than 25 years of experience building and leading world-class marketing organizations for iconic global brands. She has deep expertise in brand development, integrated marketing strategy, and purpose-driven campaigns that strengthen brand equity and accelerate growth.
Karen serves as Chief Marketing Officer at Vuori, Inc., where she lead the vision, strategy, and drives global planning for marketing, including overseeing the creative development and execution for all marketing across retail, brand, eComm, wholesale, and digital. Prior to joining Vuori in 2023, Karen was Chief Marketing Officer at Levi Strauss & Co., and earlier served as Vice President of Marketing for the Asia-Pacific region. Under her leadership, her teams delivered some of the most recognized campaigns of the past decade, including Levi’s® Greatest Story Ever Worn and Buy Better, Wear Longer –named AdWeek Ads of the Year and featured on Fortune’s Change the World list.
Throughout her career, Karen has received multiple industry honors, including being named to AdWeek’s 2025 Marketing Vanguard Awards, BCG’s Top 25 Most Inspiring Women of 2025, induction into the World Federation of Advertising’s Marketing Hall of Fame, recognition as a Top 50 Influential Marketer by Campaign US, and numerous creative awards across global markets.
Beyond her corporate leadership, Karen advises startups and nonprofits, helping founders clarify brand positioning, consumer opportunity and scale marketing impact. She is an active member of the Meta Retail Advisory Board, an invitation-only gathering of C-Suite retail thought leaders, as well as DealMakerHERS , a network of impactful female leaders who are shaping today’s consumer landscape.She has served as a board member of the 49ers Foundation, Amazon Advertising’s Customer Advisory Board, is an Advisor to Zero, a Gen Z-founded sustainable fashion marketplace, and is an active member of Business Councils for Peace, mentoring female-founded companies and helping them drive sustainable growth & positive community impact.
Karen holds a B.S. from Vanderbilt University and completed the Executive Education Program at Harvard Business School.
