Norwest is a global, multi-stage investment firm that manages $15.5 billion in capital and has funded more than 700 companies since inception. Norwest India invests as part of the global Norwest flagship funds.

We are focused on early- to mid-stage venture capital investments in India across a wide range of sectors such as consumer, internet, financial services, software, and education. We also make growth equity investments in India-centric businesses in sectors such as technology, software and IT services, financial services, consumer, industrials and manufacturing, and healthcare.

Venture Capital

For early and mid-stage companies in India, we invest between $10 million and $30 million in companies with strong growth potential, proven business models, and initial revenue traction.

Growth Equity

We typically invest between $20 million and $100 million in each transaction. We invest in fast-growing companies with strong market positions, proven management teams and significant revenue and net income traction. We invest in both listed and unlisted companies.

Value Add

We collaborate closely with our management teams to think critically about key strategic issues, business-building initiatives, and how to collectively drive increased shareholder value. We help our portfolio companies in a variety of areas including business development, sales, recruiting, and marketing.
